Impressive Ottoman period high quality embroidery spread or table cloth done in gold strip dival work with couched threads on burgundy velvet. Highly decorative European style design elements in floral decorative European style design elements in floral sprays and arabesques in four corners with central medallion. Heavy velvet ground and backed in burgundy cotton. In excellent overall antique condition with occasional loose threads to embroidery and some variation of color to the ground velvet. Measures 79” by 61”.
