Yeah…except George Carlin also did a ten minutes piece where he called Richard Pryor a n*gger and other Black people n*ggers, and said it was okay because it was “just a word” and that we didn’t have to attach any meaning to the word.
So George Carlin can go fuck himself in his grave to as far as I’m concerned.

Seriously, anyone who thinks that George Carlin is some magical unicorn of unproblematic funny needs to look no farther or harder than the special ‘You Are All Diseased.’ The whole thing is on youtube. I won’t link it here because it’s that awful.
Most of dear saint george’s later work is really bitter and hateful and unfunny.
