Reblog if you remember being in fandom BEFORE Livejournal or Fanfiction.net existed.

Seriously, does anyone remember the old LISTSERV and Yahoo mailing lists that floated around more than a decade ago? I feel so OLD!

Before I knew about ff.net? Yes. I was on yahoo and a bunch of HP sites around the time the 5th book came out. No idea how long ff.net has been around, but I wasn’t aware of it until a few years ago.

I was in animorphs fandom before I had internet access. Even when I GOT internet access, yahoo wasn’t a thing yet. We were fanning it up on geocities and angelifire pages, yo.
